Would you like an easy way to dress like Carrie Bradshaw this season?
It looks like the designers at Reformation were inspired by the fictional style icon for their latest collection, and I'm obsessed.
This post is not sponsored, nor do I get a kick-back from any of the products I’m recommending.
Here’s an unoriginal confession: Carrie Bradshaw is one of my style icons. I can’t help it—every time the temperature starts to warm, I get this hankering to slip on a silk or fitted number with dainty shoes and prance around whichever city I’m in.
My favourite looks of hers were in the middle seasons—after Sex and the City costume designer Patricia Field had established Carrie’s style, but before it became completely unattainable. TikTok famous stylist Allison Bornstein used the Three Word Method to label Carrie’s wardrobe as daring, mismatched, and elaborate. I agree with the first two words, but her elaborate looks really came around post-Berger. In seasons two through six, Carrie’s third word would’ve been relaxed. Because even though she wore bold designer pieces and mixed colours and styles, her looks always felt lived-in. Like she spent all day in each outfit writing at her desk, lunching with her friends, and popping into bodegas for cigs. That’s the CB style I love and try to emulate—and because of Reformation, I’ll be getting close to reproducing those looks this season.
So many new pieces at Reformation look like they’ve been taken right out of Carrie’s lookbook—a fitted LBD, a flamingo pink silk skirt, a brown tube top, a blue nightie-looking dress. And each and every one of them are on my new season wish list.
Below, some of the pieces I’m eyeing (prices are in USD).

Flamingo Pink Silk Skirt
I’ve been on the hunt for a skirt like this for a while, just so I can pair it with a heather grey cotton tee. (Also, I think silk on bare cheeks is one of the best feelings in the world.)

Muse Tee, $38, thereformation.com
Tube Top + Wide-Legs
A brown strapless top, wide-leg linen pants, a bold necklace, and an interesting clutch feels like a fun look for dinner dates.

Vida Low Rise Linen Pant, $198, thereformation.com
Blue Négligée
Paired with, again, messy hair as well as a gold necklace, this dress feels very Carrie.

Layla Linen Skirt, $158, thereformation.com
Vest + Chunky Heels
Its giving ‘00s Chloé vibes. Teamed with dainty gold jewellery, it feels very Carrie.

More Tee-and-Silk Looks
I think this will be my everyday combo when the warm temp roll in. (Black bra is key.)

Classic Crew Tee, $38, thereformation.com
Tank + heels
Who can elevate a tank and jeans like CB? Warning: You will catch me in this exact same look this summer, which is from my most-loved SATC episode. (“If I ever feel lonely…”)
Dusk Knit Top, $58, thereformation.com
Winnie Peep Toe Heeled Mule, $248, thereformation.com
